The Flying Hellfish Awards System

The Flying Hellfish have an award system based on a skydiver's proficiency in the air. The person responsible for the inevitable funnel of the dive is immediately awarded a "funnel fish" sticker which must be placed on their expensive helmet, in full view of the skydiving community. Its the Hellfish version of the badge of shame, but some perverted members of the group actually take pride in the accumulation of these icons of ineptitude.

There are times when a Hellfish demonstrates extraordinary incompetence, above and beyond the call of duty and good taste, in these 3-sigma cases, a special gold "funnel fish" is awarded. To date, only the infamous Nick Ellis has been awarded the gold "funnel fish" but more are sure to follow.
