Haleakala National Park, Maui, Hawaii

These are various pics from around the park, most are from inside the crater and the rain forest shots are from the Kipahulu area and Waiamoku Falls. I GUARANTEE that all these photos were taken by me and are the property of the Supreme Commander (insert Hellfish disclaimer here).

Test location at Kalahaku overlook at 9000 ft. that cone behind me is over 800 ft. tall, I climed down into the smaller one, not fun parking lot area for the overlook, way above cloud cover looking east into crater toward Kaupo gap only shot I got of the Heritage softtail that I rented, other than the parking lot shot Our buddy Ron, RM Manager of the park, Cyndy and myself (in Taco Bell hat)
better perspective of the scale inside the crater, we're going down 'sliding sands trail' toward 835 ft. Pu'u Maui Still on the trail, there's about 8 horses further down the trail if you look close view from inside the small cone in the crater, that's Tom way up on the rim A magnificent view of the crater with clouds creeping in thru the Kaupo gap A rare 'silver sword' found only inside this crater, cool
